1. Wash and Cleanse

The most common mistake is to use hair shampoo to wash your beard. As facial hair is different from the hair on top of your head, regular shampoo will strip the natural oils from your beard and make it dry and coarse. Instead opt for a quality beard-specific shampoo or cleanser that remains gentle on the face, maintain moisture and untangle facial hair.

2. Condition and Moisturise

Moisturising is another important step when tackling an itchy beard rash. Use a beard conditioner after wash to nourish and promote beard growth. Follow with a beard oil to soften your hair and nurture the skin underneath for the rest of the day.
